While browsing through Instagram, I came across a
post from one of my friends talking about their
successful bitcoin investment and the substantial
profits they had earned. Intrigued by their
claims,I decided to visit the website mentioned in
the post. After creating an account, I reached out
to the support chat and was provided with a
WhatsApp contact for further assistance.I
connected with a person on WhatsApp who instructed
me to install the MetaMask app and informed me
that they would be the recipient of my money
transfers. I was asked to make four bank
transfers, totaling £148,000. Throughout this
process, I believed that my friend, whose post had
initially caught my attention, was also aware of
the investment opportunity. However, I later
discovered that his account had been hacked, and
the hacker was using his page to promote false
information about the company, leading me to
believe it was legitimate.After noticing the scam,
